Filipino Community of Guam celebrates 70 years with Pista Sa Nayon

Mabuhay! Congratulations are in order for the Filipino Community of Guam as they embark on a 70-year milestone. The community is celebrating with a bang this weekend, and you’re invited.
They’re a vibrant people woven into the colorful fabric that makes up the island - from their unique culture and arts, to their countless contributions, and their knack for a good time/
Patrick Luces, president of the FCOG, told KUAM News, “We say it's fun in the Philippines, but this weekend, it’s gonna be fun down at the Pista Sa Nayon down at Ypao beach.”
It’s a fiesta at Ypao Beach Park, better known as Pista Sa Nayon, as the Filipino Community of Guam celebrates 70 years.
FCOG member Andy Padilla added, “Come over, we invite you all!”
It’s an invitation you won’t want to pass up, as the event promises an endless line up of fun. Luces continued, “We’ll have a lot of food trucks, food vendors, local crafters/jewelers will be there, a petting station, so bring out the kids; we’ll have carnival rides.”
And entertainment you don't want to miss -with headlining acts Inigo Pascual and Sheryn Regis set to take the stage alongside other notable performers.
Join the celebration this Saturday, July 13th at Ypao Beach Park in Tumon from 2pm-9pm.
Parking is available at John F. Kennedy High School with a shuttle service from available to the park every 15 minutes.
