Teenage boy indicted in deadly crash

The 17-year-old boy arrested in connection to a deadly car crash in Hagatna was indicted by a grand jury in the Superior Court of Guam. 

John Apolonio is being charged as an adult for vehicular homicide, vehicular homicide while driving impaired and vehicular negligence.

Police said Apolonio was driving drunk when he crashed a car along West O’Brien drive on June 12. 

The crash killed one of his passengers.

Investigators said he was going at least 75 miles per hour.
