Okkodo High School, B.P. Carbullido Elementary School receive full WASC accreditation

The Guam Department of Education is proud to announce the accreditations of Okkodo High School and B.P. Carbullido Elementary School by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
This achievement highlights GDOE’s commitment to educational excellence and high standards.
Okkodo High School was granted a six-year accreditation and will be reviewed in the mid-cycle visit scheduled for 2026-2027 school year.
“Under the guidance of Principal Rita Flores, the school has consistently adhered to the rigorous standards set by the ACS WASC, ensuring that its educational programs are both effective and of high quality. This achievement not only validates the school's dedication to academic excellence but also reinforces its reputation as an institution that is fully equipped to prepare students for the challenges of the future,” said GDOE Superintendent Erik Swanson.
B.P. Carbullido Elementary School also secured a six-year accreditation status, with a mid-cycle visit that would review the adherence to ASC WASC standards.
