Witness heard gunfire before man's body found in Talo'fo'fo'

A witness reported hearing gunfire before the body of an unidentified man was found in the middle of the street in Talo'fo'fo'.

Detectives with the Guam Police Department responded to Chalan Matas Street around 4 am Saturday.

Southern residents were in shock to see the police activity in what they say is typically a quiet neighborhood where everyone looks out for one another.

Investigators have launched a death investigation and are asking the public's for assistance to solve the case.

Police have yet to confirm if they believe foul play was a factor or if they have any potential suspects.
