A death investigation is underway after the body of a man was found in the middle of the road in Talo'fo'fo' early Saturday.

Police were called to the scene around 4 am, according to Guam Police Department spokesperson officer Berlyn Savella.

No word if authorities noticed any signs of foul play.

"Preliminary findings required the activation of detectives with the Criminal Investigation Section," said Savella. "At this time we are committed to providing accurate information while ensuring the integrity of the investigation is not compromised."
