The University of Guam is ready to help students and their families find ways to make higher education more affordable.

This summer, supported by a $177,308 grant from the Education Credit Management Corporation, UOG is ready to help Guam students and their families find ways to make higher education more affordable through a series of Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA, workshops and application completion events throughout July and August.

These workshops are meant to simplify the process and offer guidance to assist students in gaining access to federal student aid, work-study job assignments, and loans specifically designed for higher education.

UOG’s FAFSA Student Support Strategy aims to increase the number of completed and accepted FAFSA applications submitted by residents of Guam and to offer specialized support for non-citizen students through community events and partnerships across Micronesia.
