The President-Elect, Jenny Bowers, of the Guam Post of the Society of American Engineers announced the opening of registration and sponsorship opportunities for the Guam Industry Forum 2024 scheduled for Nov. 14 through 16, 2024, at the Dusit Thani Guam Resort.

The event will feature three days of engaging activities: A two-day Guam Industry Forum 2024, an island facilities window tour, and the annual Charlie Corn Scholarship Golf Tournament on Nov. 16.

Over the past few years, Guam’s witnessed significant growth in U.S. Military projects on the island.

The 2024 event will feature subject matter experts from the Department of Defense, the Government of Guam, and the private sector, offering valuable insights for local and international companies, contractors, suppliers, and service providers seeking regional opportunities.

The two-day Guam Industry Forum 2024 will bring together speakers and attendees from around the world.

Participants will have the opportunity to network and engage with decision-makers involved in military expansion projects in Guam and the West Pacific.

Organized by S.A.M.E. Guam Post, with support from the Guam Chamber of Commerce and Guam Contractors Association, the forum’s theme is “Building Security, Deterrence, and Resiliency in the Western Pacific.”

Attendees will gain insights on effective contract competition and potential partnerships, as they prepare to bid on over $11 billion worth of anticipated military expansion projects planned for the next five to ten years.

The S.A.M.E. Guam Post Annual Charlie Corn Scholarship Golf Tournament will be held at Finest Guam Golf & Resort (former Starts Guam Golf Resort).

This event, which has been running since 1978, remains the longest-standing annual charity benefit on Guam. Over the past 14 years, it has awarded 120 scholarships, totaling $341,000.
