My name is Vic Gaza, and I am a passionate advocate for change, a dedicated public servant, and most importantly, I am one of you. I have witnessed firsthand the struggles and hardships faced by our community, and I am committed to being the voice of the people in the hallowed halls of our legislature. I am a college graduate with a BA in Communications & Business Management from the University of Hawaii, Manoa Campus, and a proud Alumni of Father Duenas Memorial School, in Mangilao, Guam.

If I am fortunate to serve as a your Senator, I believe in putting the needs of our community first. That’s why my platform is centered around addressing the issues that truly matter to you – the hardworking men and women of Guam who deserve better. Here’s what I stand for:

Prioritizing People Over Politics: While others may seek recognition and accolades, I am solely focused on making a tangible difference in the lives of our people. I will prioritize issues such as utility rates, infrastructure improvements, and economic development over meaningless resolutions and ribbon-cutting ceremonies.

Reducing the Business Privilege Tax: I am committed to reverting the business privilege tax back to 4%, easing the burden on businesses and reducing the cost of goods for consumers. By creating a more business-friendly environment, with no new taxes, we can stimulate economic growth and create job opportunities for our community.

Streamlining Permitting Processes: Having experienced the frustrations of navigating the permitting process firsthand, I understand the need for reform. I will work tirelessly to streamline and expedite the process, making it easier for businesses and homeowners to invest in our island’s future.

Promoting a Business-Friendly Government: I believe in fostering an environment where businesses can thrive and succeed. By implementing reasonable regulations and cutting through red tape, we can attract investment, encourage entrepreneurship, and create a more prosperous Guam for all.
