Guam police officers and task force members raided a home in Hagat on Wednesday finding illicit drugs and a weapon.

Forty-two-year-old Christopher Daniel Young is charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance and possession of a firearm without a firearms ID card.

Court documents state officers along with Superior Court marshals executed a warrant when they spotted Young.

Young allegedly fled and led them on a brief chase before being taken into custody.

Authorities found a 9mm pistol and two glass pipes with meth.

Young allegedly denied owning the firearm but admitted the drugs were his.
