Foul odor forced temporary evacuation of Guam Police Dispatch Center

It was not a pleasant start to the day for operators at the Guam Police Department's Dispatch Center.
They had to evacuate the center located inside the Guam Homeland offices in Agana Heights due to a foul odor.
GPD Spokesperson, Officer Berlyn Savella said the smell was due to a possible battery leak.
Authorities sent word just after 9 a.m. that it forced them to have 911 calls temporarily directed to the police precincts.
About an hour had passed before the foul odor did as well.
Operations are back to normal.
