Where love finds its paradise. Sincerely Saipan launched this week during Pride Month, hoping to provide LGBTQIA+ inclusive tours and weddings on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota.

“Our mission is to provide a safe and inclusive, tour for that LGBTQIA+ community. It's where they can celebrate their love with weddings and tours around the island,” said Sincerely Saipan Co-owner, Myla Deets.

They’re believed to be the first business of its kind in the Northern Marianas. They hope to help revitalize tourism amid the economic downturn and perhaps open the island to an entirely new market.

“We knew that Saipan and, and also the neighboring islands of Rota and Tinian are very inclusive. Like I mentioned earlier, when I came here, people were so welcoming here,” said PK Phommachanh-Daigo, the other co-owner.

The company said it will also be the first from Saipan to participate at the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association Convention in Japan this October.

A study by the association found that “LGBTQ+ travelers…show a strong desire to support their destination’s local LGBTQ+ community …and have the potential to help destinations reduce the effects of seasonality and spread visits more evenly throughout the year.”

“We know that from the past there's been a lot of same sex marriage license issue here to Chinese tourists as well. And also, we're very much looking forward towards like South Korea, Japan and, hopefully, you know, we'll get a lot more people from North America market like Canada or US based because, there's a lot of same sex weddings that are happening. Hawaii is one of the wedding destinations. And so we're hoping to capture a lot of the demographics to come to Saipan,” said Phommachanh-Daigo.

“We have an outpouring of support from the community, and we're extremely grateful for everyone supporting,” added Deets.
