Before Judge Benjamin Sison in the Superior Court of Guam, a new attorney was assigned to represent Mesemwan Repwak, the man said to be involved in several serious and violent incidents.

It was on Thursday when Repwak was to answer to the charges in four cases when William Jones motioned to withdraw as his attorney.

Sison then appointed Heather Quitugua.

Repwak is charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault, both with special allegations of possession or use of a deadly weapon after a shooting in Maite that involved a 14-year-old girl.

He is also charged in the accident in Sinajana before he was apprehended and Repwak is charged twice with aggravated assault in connection to a machete attack in Harmon last August.

In the fourth case, Repwak is charged with aggravated assault, assault on a peace officer and resisting arrest.
