The May session agenda is set but senators today discussed they will have a short time frame to get to all the measures expected to go up for discussion.
That’s mainly due to the upcoming Memorial Day holiday leaving lawmakers with three days to discuss and one day to vote.
Among the 13 bills approved for the session agenda include appropriating millions for the energy credit program, the lawful operations of cannabis, disposing of undistributed child support, increasing the sentence for sex offenders, veterans related measures.
Resolution 218 which aims to cover costs for adaptive vehicles for disabled veterans will also be discussed.
Senators recessed until Monday to determine if more resolutions could be added.
Session is set to begin on May 28.
