GEC ratifies primary election candidates, ballot placement selected

The ballot is set for the Aug. 3 primary election. The Guam Election Commission ratified the packets for the 75 candidates that made the May 1 filing deadline in the Delegate, Senatorial, and Mayoral races this mid-term.

The candidates or a representative was able to pull a number to select where they would be placed on the primary election ballot.

An important note that only the candidates running under the same party in contested were called to draw numbers for ballot placement.

A reminder to the community that the deadline to register to vote is July 18.
