The Guam Post of the Society of American Engineers announced today that it will be hosting the Guam Industry Forum 2024 from Nov. 14 and 15, 2024, at the Dusit Thani Guam Resort.
The two-day forum will welcome speakers and attendees from around the globe to network and meet decision-makers aligned with planned military expansion projects in Guam and the West Pacific.
The annual Charlie Corn Scholarship Gold Tournament is also set to be hosted on Nov. 16. This tournament is the longest-running annual charity benefit event on Guam, dating back to 1978. It provides scholarships for students pursuing degrees in engineering or architecture.
The Guam Industry Forum 2024 specializes in bringing together presenters and subject matter experts from the Department of Defense, the Government of Guam, and the private sector to discuss how local and international companies can support the military’s expansion projects on Guam.
The theme for the 2024 forum is “Building Security, Deterrence, and Resiliency in the Western Pacific” and will be ideal for contractors, architects, engineers, suppliers, and service providers to learn how they can effectively compete or partner with other companies to bid on more than $11-billion in anticipated military projects planned for the next five to 10 years in Guam and the Western Pacific.
Noel Enriquez, S.A.M.E. Forum Planning Committee Chairman said, “The Guam Industry Forum gives businesses an unapparelled opportunity to learn how their company can get involved in the largest facility expansion program in the region’s history for the next five to 10 years. They’ll understand how to effectively compete as well as develop partnership opportunities at the local and international levels. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to attend to gain insight from the topics we’ll cover and network with key decision-makers.”
He noted that sponsorship opportunities will be available soon.
“S.A.M.E. Guam Post will offer tiered sponsorship opportunities to reach audiences from the construction industry, U.S. Military, service providers, and the local government. Guam Industry Forum 2024 sponsors receive incredible value and exposure for their investment while supporting our mission to provide scholarships for students on Guam studying architecture and engineering,” Enriquez added.
More information about the Guam Industry Forum 2024, registration, and event sponsorship opportunities will be available soon at guamindustryforum.com.
