Drug convict indicted on illegal weapons possession charge

A convicted drug dealer is now facing federal charges. 

Michael Rosal Jr. is indicted on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.

The indictment was handed down in the District Court of Guam today. 

Court documents state the case is connected to his 2020 drug case that he was convicted of in Superior Court. 

As KUAM reported, Rosal led Guam police on a chase back in 2020 when officers found nine grams of meth and a pistol in his possession.
