A 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck 105 miles east-northeast of Saipan at 7:54 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Offices of Homeland Security and Civil Defense on Guam.

There is no tsunami threat to Guam, Rota, Tinian, or Saipan from the earthquake, according to the National Weather Service Pacific Tsunami Warning Center. They note that some areas may have experienced shaking.
