Thai Thai shooting defendants wait to answer to murder charges

The couple accused in the deadly armed robbery that claimed the life of a Dededo mom will have to wait again to answer to the charges filed against them. 

Defendants Domingo Mendiola and Jenna Manibusan appeared before Magistrate Judge Jonathan Quan in Superior Court. 

Both are facing aggravated murder charges in connection to the February killing of 53-year-old Sumittra Lairopi outside the Thai Thai restaurant in Tamuning. 

Manibusan's attorney told the court they are reviewing reports to determine if they have any conflicts. 

Mendiola's was appointed a new attorney today. Both are scheduled back in court on April 9. 

As reported, investigators believe the deadly armed robbery was drug related.
