A man wanted in a home invasion investigation is captured during a recent traffic stop and police also found drugs.

Twenty-eight-year-old Matthew Siguenza Salas is charged with home invasion, criminal mischief, assault, family violence, possession of a schedule II substance, and burglary.

Court documents state Salas aggressively forced his way into the home of a woman known to him.

That’s where he allegedly rushed head first into a wall at least twice, causing damage.

The following month, he allegedly assaulted the same victim and a child.

Last Friday, officers pulled him over when they found a glass pipe and meth.

Salas is being held on a $7,500 cash bail.
