Criminal charges could be dismissed against three of the men accused in a deadly stabbing in Dededo.
Co-defendants Alison Joe, Cyrus Mathias, Dero Itsy, L-son Joe, and Samson Shapucy appeared before Judge Vernon Perez in Superior Court today.
The five men stand accused in the 2022 deadly stabbing of 24-year-old Kifirtson Aiken.
Prosecuting attorney Sean Brown told the court today that they are looking at possibly dismissing the charges with prejudice against Mathias, Alison Joe and L-son Joe.
A plea offer was also given to defendant Itsy.
This means defendant Shapucy would be left to stand trial.
The men are expected to appear back in court this Friday.
Until then, plea offers and dismissal requests are final, Judge Perez told the parties he plans to move forward with trial set for March 6.
