Grandmother arrested in Dededo murder case

A third arrest was made in connection to the murder of a one-year-old baby boy in Dededo.
Forty-six-year-old Pamela Ann Toves is charged with tampering with a witness.
The murder case involves co-defendants Giltinan Ramangmou and Paul Cruz.
Court documents state a 6-year-old witness was being interviewed by police when Toves allegedly whispered, “Remember to tell them that mommy didn’t hurt the baby.”
According to the complaint, the child had previously admitted to authorities to witnessing the murder.
Toves allegedly admitted to instructing the witness what to tell investigators.
As KUAM reported, Ramangmou and Cruz are being tried separately in connection to the death of their baby.
The child was found dead in their Dededo home last year after suffering from Battered Baby syndrome.
