Closing arguments are set to begin tomorrow morning for murder defendant Jamie Nededog.

Trial went on for only three days in Superior Court Judge Alberto Tolentino’s courtroom. Late Friday, Nededog took the stand maintaining his innocence ahead of parties resting.

Defense Attorney Peter Santos: So do you look up to Ed?

Defendant Jamie Nededog: Yes, sir.

Santos: Do you respect Ed?

Nededog: Yes, sir.

Santos: And so he’s your elder?

Nededog: Yes.

Santos: So if he is out doing his thing then he can take care of his own. Is that how you feel?

Nededog: Yes. That’s why he told me just to wait there and he’ll call me when we are leaving and he never called me. I waited there really, really long.

Santos: Do you want to see the real killer caught and brought to justice?

Nededog: Yes.

Nededog stands accused in the October 2023 killing of Edwin Pirando in Sumai.

Trial gets going at 9 a.m.
