Bill to improve road visibility, lane markings

As local motorists can attest to, many of Guam's roads are in dire need of re-striping and re-painting.
A bill by Senator Joe San Agustin would appropriate $9-million from fiscal year 2022 excess revenue to fund the much-needed projects.
No one showed up to testify on the measure though, but San Agustin still expects it will make it to the full session.
Sen. San Agustin said,”Let it be known that if this bill makes it to the floor it will be a committee of the whole, both from Adelup, Public Works, OFB will be invited. And make sure that if OFB says there's money, BBMR says there's none, those two offices better come to terms about how much money. If DPW can say if we get the money we can move forward, then let's move forward.”
Other senators present at the hearing acknowledge the challenge will be finding the money.
