The man indicted in the deadly stabbing of his cousin denied the allegations filed against him in Superior Court.

Issac Gurtamag pleaded not guilty to murder along with a special allegation of possession or use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony.

As KUAM reported, it was last december when the victim, identified as Mike Tithin, was found lifeless behind a home along Route 15.

Gurtamag allegedly told police his cousin threatened to shoot him, adding he got a knife to defend himself.

Investigators say the deadly stabbing was fueled by alcohol.
