Guam Power Authority’s (GPA) “Procuring Real Solutions 2024” vendor fair and expo saw a great turn out today.

Nineteen vendors showcased their products and services at GPA’s headquarters in Mangilao.

GPA Supply Management Administrator Jamie-Lynn Pangelinan said they also extended the invite to other line agencies.

“It’s about fostering competition so we wanted to host an event for the vendor fair and exposition. It’s to also include our current vendors and potential vendors. So it’s about coming together and at the same time networking to see what they can provide to us, our operations and our needs,” Pangelinan said.

One of the current vendors networking today was S&C Electric Company.

Their manager Sharath Padaki came all the way from Melbourne, Australia to showcase their products.

Padaki said, “Our main business is to provide reliable electricity to keep the power on, to keep the lights on…We provide reliability to the network, so a lot of our products are very unique. There's a lot of technology that goes into our products. There aren’t many products that do what our products do.”

It's GPA's second vendor outreach, with the expo a new addition this year.
