The duo accused in the Tumon tragedy are both young fathers. Photos on social media show them with their families each with bright smiles on their faces.

That reality is now overshadowed by what both allegedly did in Tumon last week when their actions cost the life of an elderly visitor from Korea.

Here's more on the suspects police tracked down overnight in Yona.

28-year-old Keoki Junior Santos and 26-year-old Stefen Keanu Paulino Camacho are both who Guam police have pinpointed in the Jan. 4 armed robbery on Gun Beach road in Tumon.

Santos is the alleged shooter. He was found dead in a parked car in Yona Tuesday night. Investigators said he died by suicide.

This leaves a hole in the investigation, as authorities will never get to hear what drove Santos to target the victim and pull the trigger.

Authorities said Camacho is the alleged getaway driver. He brought police to an area in Harmon after being taken into custody Tuesday to show officers where they ditched the stolen items.

Camacho is being held in the Department of Corrections (DOC) prison after being arrested on suspicion of aggravated murder, aggravated assault, robbery, conspiracy, use of a deadly weapon, criminal facilitation, guilty by complicity, and reckless conduct.

The Attorney General this afternoon confirmed prosecutors have decided to file charges against Camacho on Thursday.

That's when he could appear before a Superior Court judge.

AG Doug Moylan stated their decision was made “To ensure justice, especially considering the amount of information provided in the GPD police reports, which includes video surveillance footage, and GPD officers continuing to complete their written reports to be submitted to the AG’s office."

Moylan added, “Our team of prosecutors, investigators and support staff continues to work closely with GPD’s detectives and officers to ensure that justice is achieved in this ongoing investigation.”

Police Chief Stephen Ignacio confirmed Santos has been on law enforcement's radar before. He explained, “We have priors in his record. One was possession of a controlled substance and he had an active warrant of arrest.”

Prison records show Santos' criminal history that dates back to 2014 on charges of theft of property, fraudulent use of credit cards, identity theft, and unsworn falsification.

He just got out from prison last November.

The Chief confirmed Camacho is no stranger to police as well. “Mr. Camacho has prior arrests for assault, disorderly conduct and along those lines.”

When asked if the incident was possibly drug-related, the Chief replied, “We are not sure yet at this point. everything is a fluid investigation and it’s ongoing.”

Even with arrest, police say the investigation could lead them to make more in connection to the case. No word yet if an autopsy will be performed on Santos' body.
