Couple charged in baby's death to go to trial on Dec. 20

The mother and father accused in the death of a one-year-old baby are set to go to trial on Dec. 20. However, not before defense attorneys get the autopsy report needed to prepare for trial.
Co-defendants Giltinan Ramangmou and Paul Cruz both appeared before Judge Vernon Perez in Superior Court today.
Last month, the couple were arrested, accused in the deadly beating of their baby boy.
Today, Defense Attorney Tyler Scott told the court they still need the child's autopsy report to prepare for trial.
It was said in court that Child Protective Services has it.
As reported, the Chief Medical examiner reported that the child suffered from Battered Baby Syndrome.
Ramangmou is charged with murder, aggravated assault, and child abuse. Cruz is charged with child abuse and failure to provide.
Both are back in court on Thursday.
