An elementary school student is rushed to the hospital after being hit by a car Thursday morning.

It happened around 7:13 am near the back gate area of C.L. Taitano Elementary School in Sinajana, according to Guam Fire Department spokesperson Nick Garrido.

The child was taken to the Guam Memorial Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

No information has been provided on the driver involved in the auto-pedestrian crash.
