Tomorrow is known as the busiest shopping day of the year! The day dedicated to the best shopping deals of the year is almost here. Are you ready to shop ‘til you drop? We'll get you a head start on the deals at the Micronesia Mall, and find out how many of you are preparing for Black Friday.

Holiday shoppers like Angel Marte are raring to go bargain hunting for the best deals. Asked if he's ready, she instantly replied, "Oh, absolutely! I’m excited for Black Friday. I cannot wait to be shopping more!'

Some like Dededo resident Edwin Valencia are anxious for the crowds, noting, "I’m ready for Black Friday – kind of worried about it though for the crowds, but I’m ready."

But like Marte says, shoppers are prepared to line up before doors open– even if it means camping out. "I’m going to be here super early - 4:30 in the morning," he added. When we inquired about her strategy to beat the expected crowds, she said, "I’m probably going to sleep outside."

The Micronesia Mall and its retailers also preparing to welcome the rush once the clock strikes 6 in the morning. Now, while Black Friday may still be a day away, but some stores – like Macy’s– are getting their deals on early.

The popular department store touting sales of up to 50 percent off storewide. On the other side of the mall, Seas and Sidewalks owner Ariana Andres says her shop is also meticulously planning ahead.

"Once we start at 6am, we have a group of three," she said. "Then our next shift is at 11am. So we have our different groups. But we have like three to four people at a time working in the store. So we’re definitely going to be hands on Friday."

The local family-run fashion store will have deals hard to beat, as Andres said, "We have a lot of mark down items from women’s clothing to men's clothing up to 75 percent off. And even lower. And even swimwear and accessories; we’re going to have a bunch of stuff."

And there’ll be many options for shoppers to choose from come Friday, like The Vault Guam.

"All the shorts here are embroidery shorts which are 30 percent off," she said. "And our premium t-shirts, which everybody likes, are usually $39.99, but our promo sale is three for $100."

And like The Vault Guam's Simson Simon says, supporting small businesses on Black Friday can leave a big impact. "It’s really important to support other local people because it’s something that we do together to support each other as locals," said Simon.
