Two delivery trucks full of generosity made their way to the Salvation Army in Tiyan earlier today.

It's Quality Distributors starting off the season of giving with a donation to their food pantry program.

Quality Distributors Vice President of Sales and Marketing Edson Lai says it's an annual tradition ongoing now for a consecutive 22 years.

“Today we’re donating over 10,000 lbs of rice, about 5000 cans of tulip luncheon meats, milk, and of course some ham, turkey and other canned goods,” Lai said.

“It's kind of a take-off for us to remember the holidays because there’s a lot of less fortunate people out there. We hope that these types of donations can help them out in any way possible.”

You too can help keep this gift of giving going!

The Salvation Army is still accepting non-perishable food items.

Donations can be dropped off at their food bank in Tiyan from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday through Friday.
