The San Vicente Youth Center was recently opened as the CNMI Department of Labor’s fifth satellite office dedicated to providing training resources to residents on Saipan. It’s meant to be a hub for job programs related to hospitality, infrastructure, the care economy, and environmental remediation and mitigation.
Director for the CNMI Workforce Investment Agency Frances Torres said, "Together, we are committed to ensuring equitable access to your public workforce program and services. We sincerely value and appreciate your continued support."
Program Manager for the CNMI Workforce Investment Agency Joe Villacrusis said, "It is a great opportunity for us, as well as the community, to bring our services to them instead of them coming to us…so we are really trying to reach out to the different villages to provide our services because this is an opportune time for them to start thinking about their career or maybe changing careers or getting upskilled in their current career."
The office will be open from Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
