Relay for Life 2023 kicks off this Saturday

The 2023 Relay for Life is set to take place this Saturday, Nov. 18 at the University of Guam Calvo Fieldhouse from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The island community is rallying together to celebrate our cancer survivors, remembering those we've lost, and to raise money in the fight against cancer.

This year's theme is Hope and the day's festivities kick off at 1:00 p.m. with the survivor motorcade beginning at Paseo Stadium in Hagatna.

Survivors are asked to bring their family, friends, team, co-workers and show their support as they make their trek to the fieldhouse.

A big thank you goes out to all the relay teams this year who worked hard to raise funds to support the fight against cancer. 

Recently, the Guam Department of Labor made an over three thousand dollar donation to the American Cancer Society to raise awareness around cancer, and cancer screening.

The opening ceremony begins at 4:00 p.m.
