Kapp admits he conspired to defraud the FAA, NTSB

A defendant in a federal fraud case involving Hansen Helicopters admitted guilt in the District Court of Guam today.
Phillip Kapp pleads guilty to conspiracy to defraud the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board.
As we’ve reported, multiple defendants charged in the case were accused of circumventing US Aviation safety regulations to balloon their profits.
Prosecutors previously argued the alleged fraudulent operations and the companies love of money led to nine deaths and more than a dozen injuries,
Kapp remains out of prison and is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 13.
