Honoring all who served. The Governor's Office and the Guam Office of Veterans Affairs is hosting this year's Veterans Day ceremony set for tomorrow morning in Hagatna. The stage is set for the special event at the Guam Museum starting at 11am.

Governor Lou Leon Guerrero sharing, "On this day and everyday, we honor the brave, the selfless, the heroes. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the veterans in the Marianas and worldwide for their service and sacrifice. Thank you for your dedication and bravery."

Ahead of tomorrow's ceremony, KUAM caught up with Navy veteran Alex Wright, who was with the Boy Scouts including his son outside of the museum.

Asked what the day means to him, he said, "I think it’s not only about what I see with veterans now especially with my generation. I think it’s service that you’ve done and that you’ve given to your country, but it’s also so much more these days it is about how we continue to serve. Our sponsoring organization for scouts, GY671, that is one of their huge pushes on veterans services…serving your community. That is one of the big things for me personally."

Wright is a chief navy diver. We thank him and all veterans for their service.
