Man allegedly used fradulent driver's license to purchase car from dealership

Raynard Diza, 38, has been arrested and charged with identity theft and theft by deception after allegedly using another man's identity to secure a bank loan and purchase a car from a local dealership.

According to court documents, Diza obtained the vehicle using a fraudulent driver's license, and the dealership discovered the deception two months after the transaction took place.

Investigations revealed that the individual Diza impersonated had never applied for a bank loan to purchase a car, raising suspicions about the authenticity of the transaction.

Law enforcement authorities took Diza into custody and successfully recovered the vehicle in question.

Additionally, court documents indicate that Diza was already on pretrial release for a separate drug possession case, adding to the legal complications he now faces.
