The man accused of murdering an army veteran just lost another defense attorney.
Jordan Babauta is one of the defendants who stands accused in the murder of Jason Susuico, an army veteran.
Babauta appeared before Judge John Terlaje in Superior Court today, where Walsh cited a conflict of interest as the reason for his withdrawal.
Walsh had previously represented the alleged victim, creating a conflict that led to his departure from the case.
He is the fifth attorney to step away from this case.
Judge Terlaje appointed attorney Vanessa Williams to represent Babauta.
Alongside Babauta the other defendants being accused are Cynthia Quinata, Jason Manibusan, and Brandon Chandler. All four are charged with aggravated murder and remain in the Department of Corrections Prison.
