Jury selection delayed for murder defendant Jordan Babauta

Jury selection is held up for one of the defendants charged in the killing of army veteran Jason Susuico.

A jury was scheduled to be picked this week for murder defendant Jordan Babauta. But due to conflicts, the court decided to wait before moving the trial forward. 

Babauta has since pleaded not guilty to aggravated murder and guilt by complicity. 

Co-actors Cynthia Quinata and Brandon Chandler are facing similar charges in local court. 

Both have yet to answer to the allegations and are set to appear back in court next week. 

The trio stands accused of allegedly beating Susuico to death and dumping his body in a jungle area in Yigo off Route 15. 

Investigators say the motive was drug-related.
