A fifth public school has passed inspection conducted by the Department of Public Health’s Division of Environmental Health.

The Guam Department of Education announced Thursday afternoon that Talo’fo’fo’ Elementary School can now return to regular operations and prepare to welcome students this coming school year.

Details of the inspection report to include the letter grade the campus received have not yet been made public.

“GDOE commends Talo’fo’fo’ Elementary School principal Erwin Manibusan and his team for their commitment to preparing their school campus for SY 2023-2024,” the department stated in a press release.

School officials also recognized GDOE’s Facility & Maintenance Division, Talo’fo’fo’ Mayor’s Office, Kurt Meno - volunteer and proud grandparent, Kurtis Meno - GDOE - Division of Special Education, 254th Red Horse Squadron, Guam Air National Guard, Chiefs Association, Guam Air National Guard and Guam Cleaning Masters for their support to get them ready for inspection.

The DYA summer youth interns and support staff at the home of the Tigers also assisted in cleaning up the campus.
