Serial robber admits guilt, spared jail time

A man accused in multiple armed robberies could walk away a free man after taking the government's plea deal.  Defendant Javick Chutaro admitted to five counts of robbery before Judge John Terlaje in superior court today. 

He was spared from having to spend any more time in prison for his crimes, and placed on five years' probation. 

As we reported, it was last September, Chutaro and co-actor Brandon George Flores were arrested in connection to several armed robberies gas stations, gamerooms and convenience stores,.

It was also said in court today that Chutaro faces deportation.
