Special meeting called to address executive director vacancy at post commission

The Guam Peace Officers and Training Commission held a special meeting this past Thursday to address the vacancy of its executive director position and discuss recommendations for an interim until one is selected.

However, after waiting for about 20 minutes for agency representatives to show up, chairman Vincent Perez of the Guam Customs and Quarantine Agency, conducted roll call and said the meeting could not proceed due to lack of quorum. The commission has been without an executive director and was hoping to appoint an interim, which was held by Robert Camacho, who passed away in March.

The next POST Commission special meeting will be held on July 13 at 10:30am.
