The Guam Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Business Recovery Summit and Expo on Friday at the Hyatt Regency in Tumon.  Chamber president Catherine Castro encourages all small businessowners, managers and companies to attend the free event.

"We’re bringing together government and private sector to be able to give each other updates on where they’re at, how our economy is doing that way it will help businesses on Guam and everybody who lives on Guam," she said. "How do we plan moving forward?"

The summit will include a robust panel of industry experts and a tabletop expo with over 20 federal and local organizations who will be providing resources to help businesses get back on their feet after Typhoon Mawar.

Castro continued, "We got our economic recovery panel, telecommunications, utilities, and of course our industry panel. We've got a really great in between that will feature Jerry Roberts who’s going to give us some motivational segment that we feel is going to be absolutely fantastic."

The summit will be held tomorrow at The Hyatt Regency's Grand Ballroom from 8:30am to 4pm.

Seating is limited and RSVPs are required.
