Harmon studio fire extinguished

An investigation is underway regarding a fire that occurred in Harmon Industrial Park Tuesday afternoon.

A dark plume of smoke could be seen from Route 16. According to Guam Fire Department Spokesperson Lt. Nick Garrido at 3:01 p.m., units responded to a report of a structure fire across the Proline Shop. Upon arrival, units found an art Studio fully engulfed at the building's rear. The fire was extinguished within 20 minutes.

No injuries were reported however Garrido said that businesses on both sides of the studio did receive significant smoke damage.
