The American Red Cross is calling for local volunteers to participate in training this weekend to help the island recover post-Typhoon Mawar.

ARC’s Operations Management Assistant Workforce Director Gregg Stone speaks with KUAM about the training opportunity which includes disaster assessment, logistics, and sheltering and distribution of emergency supplies.

The training is this Saturday and Sunday, June 10-11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the RHIGA Royal Laguna Guam Resort.
