Disaster Unemployment Assistance Program coming
If you've lost wages or your job due to Typhoon Mawar, help is on the way.
The Guam Department of Labor is working with FEMA and the U.S. Department of Labor to stand up a Disaster Unemployment Assistance program, according to a news release. More information on eligibility, application process and more will be announced soon.
In the meantime, those in need are encouraged to document any losses of employment or wages due to the typhoon.
