During this time of need, there are those who are doing all they can to help the island community. The Homegrown Collective Guam, a cannabis advocates and allies organization, is offering the public to use water from their office space on the 2nd floor of the Servino Commercial Building in Dededo.

“We discovered that we had water and as long as we have water, we're able to share it,” said president Jenelyn Abinales. “It's really important for us to share that resource because everyone is in the struggle right now and we want to be able to provide something and if this is the only thing that we can provide, then why not?”

For a limited time, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, between 12 to 5 pm, the organization is opening their office space so that everyone has a chance to be able to fill their water gallons for washing and showering. They also offer the use of their shower at the office for 30 minutes per day, per family.

“We got this. As much as it hurts right now, even if we're in survival mode right now, we can still come together as a community and everyone is offering some help,” said Abinales. “So just thankful for everyone out there.”

Additionally, although their power was cut Tuesday, once it comes back on, Abinales said that they are also offering the space for those in need to charge their electronic items.
