A man accused of multiple burglaries and thefts reported over the past month is arrested.

Jonathan Gerald Quichocho, 21, is charged with three counts of burglary, theft, two counts of forgery, theft of property, two counts of theft, attempted theft, and criminal mischief.

According to court documents, the first burglary was reported on Feb. 15 in Tumon when the victim told police his residence was broken into and rummaged through. No items appeared to have been stolen. The following day, officers responded to a home invasion in Mangilao where a second victim reported his wallet, iPad, PlayStation, and other items were taken, documents state.

A third incident was reported in Barrigada Heights on March 1 where another victim claimed hundreds of dollars worth of items, including a table and surveillance camera were stolen from her patio, the complaint states.

About five days later, authorities were alerted to CU Market where Quichocho allegedly tried to cash a stolen check. A similar forgery was reported at Canlas Express, documents state.

The investigation led authorities to link Quichocho to a theft reported in Tumon on Feb. 26 where about $100,000 in jewelry and other items were reported missing.
Quichocho was allegedly caught on surveillance video at the victim’s residence.

He allegedly admitted to the burglary and thefts, and officers also matched his fingerprints to evidence that investigators gathered from the scene.

Quichocho was on pretrial release for a 2021 burglary at the time of his arrest.
