Saint Anthony Catholic School students are currently sheltering in place due to an active shooter threat. A memo circulated to parents this morning read:

UPDATE: Students are being released. GPD Patrol Officers, Special Operations Division and assistance from HSI personnel will remain on site to ensure the safety of the children, staff, and surrounding areas as SACS release their students to parents.

At approximately 8:15 am SACS received an Active Shooter Threat. The SACS Administration immediately issued a shelter-in-place order and notified the Guam Police Department and Archdiocese of Agana, in alignment with SACS Safety Protocols.

Currently, GPD is on-site conducting an inspection and investigation.

More information will be given as soon as possible.

The safety of our students, faculty, and staff is always a top priority.
