A man accused of shooting a child known to him with an airsoft gun and also being caught with drugs is arrested.
Twenty-eight-year-old Jeremiah Joseph Cruz Aflague is charged with aggravated assault, family violence, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, and vehicle without a identification.
Court documents state the 12-year-old boy allegedly told police he was shot at twice with an airsoft gun loaded with metal projectiles.
Aflague allegedly told officers it was an accident.
The complaint also notes authorities came across Aflague during a traffic stop back in January when police found a glass pipe with meth inside the car. He allegedly admitted to owning the drugs saying it was a bad habit that he’s had since he was 17.
