Governor's State of the Island address set for March 15

Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero will present her State of the Island address in one week. 

Speaker Therese Terlaje issued the call to session for March 15 at 5:30 p.m. The address will begin an hour later inside the Antonio R. Unpingco legislative hall at the Guam congress building in Hagatna.

Adelup is still working out the details of the governor’s speech.

In 2022, Leon Guerrero reported the island is fighting its way forward, and getting stronger every day. She highlighted the impact the COVID-19 pandemic had on the territory and the programs implemented.

Again, the state of the island address will be next Wednesday, March 15 beginning at 6:30 p.m. KUAM will bring you coverage of the event.
