Troy Damian's defense still waiting on plea deal

The two men accused in the killing of Michael Castro could soon have their day in court.

Defendant Troy Ryan Damian appeared before Superior Court Judge Maria Cenzon Tuesday.

Defense attorney Joseph Razzano told the court they have been waiting months for prosecutors to send over a plea agreement.

Razzano even asking the judge to issue an order to show cause to the assistant attorney general on the case.

Cenzon gave parties until the end of the week to resolve the issue.

Damian and Nicholas Wayne Moore are being tried separately in Castro’s murder.

Moore is set to appear in court on Feb. 6.
